The final crowd scene of Ladislaw Starewich’s ‘The Tale of the Fox’, Harryhausen and Dalton write ‘[This scene] featured one hundred models, all simultaneously animated, with the three-minute sequence necessitating 273,000 movements’. (Dalton & Harryhausen, 2008, pg 44).
